Thinking of popping the question while your vacationing with your honey in Maui?

I’ve had numerous requests to capture actual proposals over the past several weeks. I’m not too sure if getting engaged is a seasonal thing but, it sure seems like Love is lingering in the summer’s air.

I love nothing more to help with ideas in planning you proposal surprise and capturing it all on film giving you a life time of memories.

As a Maui photographer, it’s really exciting for me to actually help with formulating the plan.

Here’s one of several recent ideas. Feel free to check in to see the next idea on how to pop the question while in Maui.

1. Tell her that you want to do something romantic for her and that in order for it to come together, you need her help with a scavenger hunt. In order to do this, you might have to make calls to various vendors to pre-arrange and pay for selected items and or you can start with a envelope of cash to pick the perfect items.

Things you can include are: A picnic basket, wine, cheese, fruit, wine opener, napkins ect. You can have her meet you on the beach where you’ve already laid out the beach blanket. Once she arrives you start your beach picnic, meanwhile your Maui photographer has been capturing her expressions from a far.

Next, a pre-arranged violin or guitar/ singer happens to stroll onto the beach and begins to play a love song of your choice. You drop to one knee and pop the question.

Other things you can include: Rose peddles, flowers around the blanket, a boom box with the perfect song if hiring someone is out of the budget.
