1. Take out a full-page ad in the Maui news. Arrange for the paper to be delivered to your hotel room with a special breakfast in bed. Have the hotel bring red roses, your ring and your favorite champagne and orange juice to make mimosas.

2. Arrange a surprise proposal at the show in West Maui called,” Ulalena”. Tell her you’re taking her to see the show and at the end of the show, have one of the head chanters ask for everyone’s attention as your names are called to have you come down to the stage. Lower to one knee and pop the question. Make arrangements ahead of time for the band to play your favorite song and ask her to dance with you. Your Maui photographer can be there to capture it all on film.

4. Pay the divers at a Maui aquarium to put on a proposal show inside their biggest fish tank. Give them a handwritten sign from you that say, “Will you marry me?” to hold up against the glass as you walk by. This would a wonderful photo op.

5. Hire a skywriter to spell out your proposal for everyone around to see while you’re paying out at the pool of your hotel.
