If your looking for a few good ideas for your wedding reception, read on.

1. Topping the Cake Off Uniquely. Instead of the traditional groom and bride, perhaps top it off with something romantic or humorous such as a groom pushing a wheel barrel with the bride inside.
2. Finger Licking Good. Save yourself a few bucks and go with finger foods rather than a full buffet or place setting dinners.
3. Make it Personal. Depending on the type of wedding favors you are handing out, you could add a personal touch to them by writing something personal on them; either in general or meant for someone in particular.
4. Go Carnival. Have more interaction for your guests by hiring a caricaturist to give them a gift they can take home and always remember.
5. I Want My MTV. You can put together a movie montage of your life with your new mate and set it to music. Then play during the reception.
6. Go Healthy. In lieu of meat products, consider serving vegetarian dishes to your guests.
