The Wedding Dress goes Colorful
In 1840, Queen Victoria of England was the first to wear a white wedding gown and thus became the tradition in the western world of wearing white on a bride’s wedding day. Before this, brides simply wore their Sunday best. However, outside the West, it is often commonplace for brides to wear gowns of various colors that are bright and colorful. For example, in South Korea the colors of yellow and red are always included.
