Candace and David Watson decided they wanted to do a” Trash The Dress” photo session while in Maui with their family. We started the couples’ photography session on the grassy knoll, which overlooks the ocean in front of the Montage Hotel in Kapalua. We then slowly made our way down to beach, capturing the beauty of Kapalua Beach Bay.

Working with the couple was really effortless for me as a photographer. They were whispering sweet nothings into each others’ ear; laughing and gazing into each other’s eyes, all without me having to coach or pose them. You can see from the photos how in love they are with one another, which is always a treat for me to be able to capture on film.

The  session ended up with the couple getting sandy and then jumping into the ocean, rolling around in the waves embracing one another, and of course a lot of kisses. It was an amazing session that flowed, and I left feeling like I had just made great, new friends.
